Why We Call It "One Minute Pets"

We do the research for you and strive to present the best options in a clear and concise way. No fluff, no pitches, just the basic information you need to make an informed buying decision. It takes "just a minute" to gather a significant amount of information that we have distilled down to a fairly quick read for you.

How We Evaluate Pet Products

There are lots of choices when shopping for pet supplies and products. When evaluating different brands and options, we look at a lot of factors, including but not limited to these:

  • feedback from people actually using the product
  • public product reviews across several marketplaces
  • length of time the product has been on the market
  • overall value and availability in the marketplace
  • detailed feature/benefit comparisons

In some cases, we may receive sample products from manufacturers for review, but the opinions expressed in our reviews will always be ours alone. In other cases, we purchase the products we review outright in order to get a better "hands-on" experience with them.

Our goal is to choose the best 3-5 options for any given pet product and present you with the information that you need to make a smart purchasing decision.

We are sometimes asked why all of our "star ratings" are four or five stars (meaning great and excellent). This is because we screen the products we review and select only the cream of the crop. We don't include any products that we feel are inferior or not a good value. Our four-star ratings are still very good buys!
